Jeff Lathrop has been serving in ministry for more than 27 years, and he still wakes up each day excited about what God is doing in the lives of others. His greatest joy is helping others discover the hope, purpose, and grace found in following Jesus.

A lifelong United Methodist, Pastor Jeff has served the church in many ways-from youth ministry to conference leadership. He’s a former Chair of the Dakotas Conference Council on Youth Ministry and currently serves as Chair of the Southwest District Committee on Ordained Ministry and as a member of the Board of Ordained Ministry. Through these roles, he mentors pastors and young leaders who are answering God’s call to serve.

What matters most to him, though, is people-walking with others through the ups and downs of life, helping them grow in faith, and seeing the church make a difference in the community. When he’s not at church, you’ll often find Jeff engaged in deep theological conversations with others at Pub Theology, the church’s Thursday night gathering where faith meets real life in honest, meaningful ways. He loves exploring new ideas, connecting with people, and celebrating the ways God’s presence shows up in everyday moments.
